A Life in Colors



In this interview, Lillian talks about her main focus in her artwork:
The colors as an essential startingpoint in the artistic process. Characteristics in her pictures, like the oriental cupolas, or fabulous animals like the griffin or the bewinged horse.
Why she favours certain techniques, like collage, watercolor, and the use of pure gold in her compositions.

Her thoughts about the mission of art.
She delights in the act of creating, but she also realises that her artwork has an impact on others.
- Peace, harmony and beauty give a positive feeling. It influences us human beings in a conscious or unconscious way.
I want my art to be an inspiring an joyful experience for others, she says, from her studio in Klokkarstua, Hurum.
